OMG we're still in shock from this sad news. When we we're living in Hearst Claude was hanging around with Steve almost every day. They we're always keeping busy either in the bush or in the garage...both dressed in navy blue. Wishing Junior and each member of the family our Deepest Sympathy. Mark and I are shocked and saddened by the passing of Steve. When we arrived in Hearst we got to meet Steve, Don as well as all the Bubnicks. They were all the most welcoming, friendly down to earth bunch of people around. We got to have visits often with Steve and Jr. for sure every month for haircuts. Our condolence’s to the whole family.

I am so saddened to hear about the loss of Steve. My father who has also passed worked for the pipeline and two or three times a year Steve drove the crazy bus to our company curling bonspiels. They were always great times and Steve was always on hand the full weekends. He was more than the Bus Driver he was a friend. I remember many good laughs as a child on these trips and on others. He was kind and caring and even carted around my new born brother on a few of those trips so my mother could curl or just have a break. I am sure he and my father will be sharing many pepsi/diet pepsi's and laughing and puttering together again. It is a blessing to have someone touch your life in ways you remember and Steve was one of those people, he just was who he was and this endeared him to so many. RIP Steve, enjoy a good catch up with dad. To Steve's family, may you find strength and peace in family and remember him always with the fondness and love he so obviously had for you!

So sorry to hear of the sudden passing of Steve, while hairdressing it was always such a pleasure to have Steve come by to get his haircut, both Jony and I always enjoyed his down to earth personality and conversations about the good old days, and what was going on in our families.. My condolences goes out to all the family .Steve was not just a good neighbor but a friend always there to help out . a very caring person that always took the time to stop in and say hi. when I was sick he made sure if I needed something to let him know. I would like to also say his son Stehen was thought the same values from his father . A fine young man he turned out to be. He also (Stephen)to this day checks in on me and when in town gives me a call to see if he can stop in to say Hi. you don't see that from the young generation any more. that is a rare gift that Steve showed his son. Two peas in a pod for sure. If there is any thing I can do for you's PLEASE let me know. Stephen has my number. Rest in peace Steve.

My sincere condolences to Stephen Jr, Don & the entire Bubnick family. I’m shocked to learn of his sudden, unexpected passing. I remember Steve as being a serious, hard-working person throughout his life with a good sense of humour. Steve’s sudden passing reminds us that life is too short and should never be taken for granted.

Such a beautiful tribute, it was beautiful to read, Steve is very lucky to have a loving family. I respected him a lot, we had a good frienship, exchanging jokes, laughing, talking about this and that. I will never forget him, as I never forgot his mother. Rest in peace Steve and my deepest condolences to all the family, especially to Stephen.
