Paul was my friend. Very few of you have ever met me. I am from Brampton and Paul and I met at the top of my street. He was walking his young dog Amber and I was walking my dog Charlie who is the same age. The dogs played while we stood there for several minutes. I found out that Paul was new in the area and was proudly from Hearst. I think I surprised him by knowing of Hearst and the fact I coached a midget hockey team that played the OHF championships there. I pointed out my house and told him anytime he wanted to walk the dogs just "come on by". A couple of days later he knocked on the door and we started the first of many walks. By the end of the first walk I had Paul convinced to go come play pick up hockey on Wednesday nights. What you also don't know I was at the time a man in my mid to late fifties. We made an odd couple. Age was never a factor, we just went on our walks, talked, mainly sports, replayed our game of hockey and complained about the traffic. It was fantastic and now looking back a very special thing. Paul my friend I will miss you

So Sorry to hear of Paul's passing, had the absolute pleasure of Playing hockey with Paul here in Brampton he was a all around Great Guy he Loved the outdoors, Fishing & Hunting, only 2 weeks before end of season at our hockey game he showed me pictures of his new 4wheeler for hunting & back trails very quiet but very likeable guy, Cherish your precious memories know he's as close as your fondest memory, Paul is no longer my linemate but skating with the Angels In heaven, Rest in Peace my friend, Until we meet again...
