Nécrologie de Arthur Dillon

We regret to announce the death of Mr. Arthur Dillon on September 26th, 2019 at the age of 77 in Hearst.  He is survived by his loving children: Julie (David) from New Hampshire, Ronald (Pauline) and Jeannette from Jogues as well as 7 grandchildren: Wayne, George, Jodie, Rebekah, Angelie, Blake, Élissa and 6 great-grandchildren.  He also leaves behind 2 sisters and 5 brothers.  He was predeceased by his wife Mary, his 2 daughters: Nancy & Catherine, his parents: George William Dillon & Louise (born Turner) along with his in-laws: John Elvrum and Borghild (born Thrones). 

Mr. Dillon enjoyed nature, gardening, hunting, fishing and camping.  He also enjoyed playing radio Bingo on saturday mornings along with his children.  He cherished the company of his family who held a special place in his heart.

The family wishes to express their most sincere gratitude towards the palliative care volunteers: Lucille Brunet, Claire Chabot, Fern McLean, Micheline Joanis, Denis Boucher, Sylvie Corbin, Denyse Blanchette and nursing staff at the Notre-Dame Hospital who took great care of Arthur in his end of life, as well as Dr. Martin Papineau and Dr. Lianne Gauvin.

Il laisse dans le deuil ses chères enfants: Julie (David) de New Hampshire, Ronald (Pauline) et Jeannette de Jogues ainsi que 7 petits-enfants: Wayne, George, Jodie, Rebekah, Angelie, Blake, Élissa et 6 arrière-petits-enfants. Il laisse également dans le deuil 2 soeurs et 5 frères. Il fut précédé dans la mort par son épouse Mary, ses 2 filles: Nancy & Catherine, ses parents: George William Dillon et Louise (née Turner) ainsi que ses beaux-parents: John Elvrum et Borghild (née Thrones).

M. Dillon aimait la nature, le jardinage, la chasse, la pêche et le camping. Il aimait aussi jouer au Bingo à la radio le samedi matin avec ses enfants. Il chérissait la compagnie de sa famille qui occupait une place spéciale dans son cœur.

La famille d'Arthur apprécierait des dons à l'Association Pulmonaire du Canada et à la Société de Leucémie et Lymphome du Canada.
