Nécrologie de Germain Gosselin

Nous avons le regret d'annoncer le décès de M. Germain Gosselin le dimanche 22 août 2021 à l'âge de 78 ans à Hearst. Il laisse dans le deuil sa tendre épouse Diane (née Blanchard) ainsi que ses 2 fils: Paul (Line) et Marc (Sylvie) tous de Hearst;  ainsi que ses 2 petites-filles: Gabrielle et Céleste. Il manquera également à ses 5 soeurs et ses 3 frères: Josaphat (Eva) de Mattice, Rémi de Hearst, Gaëtan (Ginette) d'Embrun, Ginette (Claude) de Saint-Constant,  Jocelyne de Welland, Francine (Sandra) de Welland aussi, Murielle (Richard) d'Embrun et Sylvie de Hearst. Il laisse également dans le deuil ses 3 belles-soeurs et 3 beaux-frères: Suzanne de Hearst, Liliane (Georges) de Belleville, Noëlline de Hearst, Maurice (Pam) de Sainte-Catherine, Denis de Hearst et Donat de Hearst; ainsi que l'amie de la famille: Gretta de Welland et plusieurs neveux, nièces, parents et amis(es). 

 Il fut précédé dans la mort par ses parents: Joseph et Rita; sa soeur: Josette; son frère: Ronald; ses beaux-parents: Jean et Rita; 3 belles-soeurs: Gisanne, Monique et Thérèse; son beau-frère: Réjean.

Auparavant, Germain a été beaucoup impliqué dans le Club de ski de fond et raquette de Hearst. Il avait une passion pour la photographie, la pêche et surtout passé du bon temps en famille au chalet familial. Aussi, ses deux petites-filles, Gabrielle et Céleste, occupaient une place très spéciale dans son âme. Un homme avec un grand coeur, il était toujours prêt à aider son prochain. Germain pouvait passer ses journées à prigrasser dans son garage et la soirée venue, il terminait souvent sa journée avec un petit verre de cognac et un cigar.

La famille apprécierait les dons envers la Fondation de l'Hôpital Notre-Dame de Hearst.

Les funérailles auront lieu le samedi, 28 août 2021 en la Cathédrale Notre-Dame de l'Assomption à 15h00 avec le Père Aimé Minkala comme célébrant.

We regret to announce the death of Mr. Germain Gosselin on Sunday, August 22nd, 2021 at the age of 78 in Hearst. He is survived by his loving wife Diane (born Blanchard) as well as his 2 sons: Paul (Line) and Marc (Sylvie) both from Hearst; as well as his 2 granddaughters: Gabrielle and Céleste. He will also be missed by his 5 sisters and 3 brothers: Josaphat (Eva) from Mattice, Rémi from Hearst, Gaëtan (Ginette) from Embrun, Ginette (Claude) from Saint-Constant, Jocelyne from Welland, Francine (Sandra) from Welland as well, Murielle (Richard) from Embrun and Sylvie from Hearst. He is also survived by his 3 sisters-in-law and 3 brothers-in-law: Suzanne from Hearst, Liliane (Georges) from Belleville, Noëlline from Hearst, Maurice (Pam) from Sainte-Catherine, Denis from Hearst and Donat from Hearst; as well as the family friend: Gretta from Welland and many nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents: Joseph and Rita; his sister: Josette; his brother: Ronald; his brother-in-laws: Jean and Rita; 3 sisters-in-law: Gisanne, Monique and Thérèse; his brother-in-law: Réjean.

Back in the day, Germain was very involved in the Hearst Cross Country Skiing and Snowshoeing Club. He had a passion for photography, fishing and above all spend  time with his family at the family cottage. Also, his two granddaughters, Gabrielle and Céleste, held a very special place in his soul. A man with a big heart, he was always ready to help anyone in need. Germain could spend his day in his garage and when the evening came, he often enjoyed a glass of cognac and a cigar.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, August 28th, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at the Notre-Dame de l'Assomption Cathedral with Father Aimé Minkala officiating.
