Nécrologie de Claire Boucher-Ayotte

Nous avons le regret d'annoncer le décès de Mme Claire Boucher-Ayotte à l'âge de 82 ans, le vendredi, 14 octobre 2022 à l'hôpital de Timmins.  Elle laisse dans le deuil ses 4 enfants; Lyne Richard (Fernand), Yves Dillon (Linda), Lee Dillon (Thérèse), tous de Hearst et Viviane Cole (Steve) de Driftwood.  Elle laisse également dans le deuil 8 petits-enfants; Valérie Blais (Yoan), Yan Richard (Kim), Geneviève Dillon, Dave Dillon (Elsa), Sébastien Dillon (Véronique), Samantha Cole, Alexander Cole et Katherine Cole, ainsi que 7 arrière-petits-enfants; Janie, Mélina, Jay, Rei, Milo, Dali et Tommy.  Claire laisse aussi derrière elle son frère Denis Boucher (Réjeanne) de Hearst, ainsi que sa belle-soeur Rosalie Boucher de Hearst.  Elle fut précédée dans la mort par son époux Paul Ayotte, sa mère Dorothy Garneau (née Hooper), son frère Gérard Boucher et son père Clarence Boucher.

On se souvient de Claire comme une dame à tout faire.  Elle était très douée pour la couture et elle a fait plusieurs belles couvertures, que ce soit par courtepointe ou par tricot pour ses petits-enfants.  Elle était très bonne cuisinière et avait un talent pour décorer des gâteaux.  Elle appréciait le plein air, le camping et le jardinage ainsi qu'avoir un intérêt particulier envers la découverte de sa généalogie.  Elle laisse de beaux souvenirs dans le coeur de sa famille et de tous ceux et celles qui l'ont connu et aimé.

Les funérailles auront lieu le mercredi, 26 octobre 2022 à 16 h 15 en la cathédrale Notre-Dame de l'Assomption de Hearst avec le Père Aimé Minkala comme célébrant.

We regret to announce the death of Mrs. Claire Boucher-Ayotte on October 14^th, 2022, at the age of 82, at the Timmins and District Hospital. She is survived by her 4 children; Lyne Richard (Fernand ), Yves Dillon (Linda), Lee Dillon (Therese), all from Hearst, and Viviane Cole (Steve) from DriftWood. She will be also missed her 8 grandchildren; Valerie Blais (Yoan), Yan Richard (Kim), Genevieve Dillon, Dave Dillon (Elsa), Sebastien Dillon (Veronique), Samantha Cole, Alexander Cole and Katherine Cole, as well as her 7 great grandchildren; Janie, Melina, Jay, Rei, Milo, Dali and Tommy.  She also leaves behind her brother Denis Boucher (Rejeanne) from Hearst and her sister-in-law Rosalie Boucher from Hearst. She was predeceased by her husband Paul Ayotte, her mother Dorothy Garneau (born Hooper), her father Clarence Boucher, and her brother Gerard Boucher.

We remember Claire as a lady with many talents. She was gifted seamstress and she made several beautiful blankets, either by quilt or by knitting for her grandchildren.  She was a great cook and had a talent for cake decorating. She loved the outdoors, camping and gardening. Claire also had a particular interest to discover her own genealogy.  She deeply marked the heart of her family and everybody that knew her and loved her.

The funeral was held on October 26rd, 2022, at the Notre-Dame Cathedral in Hearst with the Father Aime Minkala officiating.
