Nécrologie de Eerikka Wickman

We regret to announce the death of Mrs. Eerikka Wickman, at the Timmins and District Hospital on Friday, July 7th 2023 at the age of 68.  She was the beloved wife of Mr. James Wickman from Hearst and cherished mother of 4 children; Mathew (Josée), Melanie (Richard), from Hearst, Nicholas (Theresa) from Thunder Bay and Megan (Karl) from Hearst.  Proud and loving grandmother to 15 grandchildren; Jonathen, Guillaume, Chloe (Joe), Taylor, Mackenzie, Katelyn, Hannah, Ben, Dawna, Peyton, Emma, Joshua, Jaxon, Carter and Rosie, as well as 2 great-grandchildren; Zayne and Justice.  She also leaves wonderful memories in the heart of her mother Sivi, her sister Elsa (Bruce) from Hearst and her brother Eero (Lise) from Montréal. 

She was predeceased by her son Aaron Daniel (1982), her sister Joanne (2005), her father Eero (2006), her sisters-in-law Jocelyne (2013), Nancy (2019) and her brother-in-law William (2023).

We remember Eerikka as a caring and wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.  She cared deeply about her family and appreciated spending time with them.  She had a genuine, kind heart and was always there to help those around her.  Back in the day, she enjoyed playing curling and the get togethers with friends and family.  She always wanted to be a farmer and for many years, really enjoyed caring for her animals.  But most of all, she loved her family and they were her priority.  Her brother and sisters held a special place in her heart, and they were always there for her when she needed them.  Her husband and children were her world and her grandchildren were her universe.  She will be remembered by her family, her friends and all who knew and loved her.

Family and friends are invited to Fournier Funeral Services in Hearst on Saturday, July 15th, 2023 from 1 P.M. to 2 P.M. 

A ceremony will be held on that same day from 2 P.M. to 3 P.M. with Pastor Peter Robillard officiating.

James Wickman de Hearst, la mère adorée de 4 enfants; Mathew (Josée), Melanie (Richard) de Hearst, Nicholas (Theresa) de Thunder Bay et Megan (Karl) de Hearst.  Fière et aimante grand-maman de 15 petits-enfants; Jonathen, Guillaume, Chloe (Joe), Taylor, Mackenzie, Katelyn, Hannah, Ben, Dawna, Peyton, Emma, Joshua, Jaxon, Carter et Rosie, de même que 2 arrière-petits-enfants; Zayne et Justice.  Elle laisse également de très beaux souvenirs dans le coeur de sa mère Sivi, soeur Elsa (Bruce) de Hearst, et son frère Eero (Lise) de Montréal. 

Elle fut précédée dans la mort par son fils Aaron Daniel (1982), sa soeur Joanne (2005), son père Eero (2006), ses belles-soeurs Jocelyne (2013), Nancy (2019) et son beau-frère William (2023).

On se souvient d'Eerikka comme une merveilleuse et aimante épouse. mère et grand-mère.  Sa famille comptait beaucoup pour elle et elle chérissait le temps passer avec eux.  Elle avait un bon et grand coeur et était toujours disponible pour aider son entourage.  Déjà, elle aimait beaucoup le curling et les rassemblements entre famille et amis (es).  Elle aurait toujours voulu devenir fermière et pour plusieurs années, aimait prendre soin de ses animaux.  Mais plus que tout, sa famille était sa priorité.  Son frère et ses soeurs occupaient une place spéciale dans son coeur, et ils était toujours là pour elle.  Son époux et ses enfants étaient son monde et ses petits-enfants son univers.  Sa mémoire restera gravée dans le coeur de sa famille, ses amis (es) et tous ceux et celles qui l'ont connu et aimé.

Parents et amis (es) sont invités aux Services Funéraires Fournier de Hearst. le samedi 15 juillet 2023 de 13 h 00 à 14 h 00.

Une cérémonie avec le Pasteur Peter Robillard aura lieu en cette même journée aux Services Funéraires Fournier de 14 h 00 à 13 h 00.
