Nécrologie de Roland Lamontagne

Nous avons le regret d'annoncer le décès de M. Roland Lamontagne, le 23 août 2023 à l'âge de 69 ans, à l’hôpital Notre-Dame de Hearst.  Il laisse de beaux souvenirs dans le coeur de ses frères et soeurs; Ronald (feu Lawrence Aubertin), Raymond (Georgette Côté), René, Claude (Evelyn Alig), Fernand (Carmelle Audet), Gaetan, Jeanine (Victor Veilleux), Thérèse (feu Jean-Marie Goupil), Anita (feu Roland Grenier), Diane (Dieu-Donné Blier) et Joane (Jean Fortier) tous de Hearst.  Roland laisse plusieurs beaux souvenirs dans le coeur de son filleul Jérémy Fortier, ainsi que plusieurs neveux, nieces et ami(e)s.

Il fut précédé dans la mort par son père, Odilon Lamontagne, sa mère, Marie-Ange Lamontagne (née Bastarache) et son frère, Roger (Pauline Côté).

On veut se souvenir de Roland comme un homme qui aimait la compagnie de sa famille, frères, soeurs, neveux, nieces et ami(e)s.  Il était très soucieux des autres, il s’intéressait au vécu des gens.  Fort travaillant, on se rappelle d’un homme qui a dédié 48 ans de sa vie au Plywood.  Roland avait toujours hâte à l’hiver pour sortir sa fameuse motoneige Yamaha.  Très grand fan, on pouvait toujours l’apercevoir aux parties des Lumberjacks.  Salut Roland! Toujours en nos coeurs!

Les funérailles auront lieu le samedi, 2 septembre à 10 h 30 en la Cathédrale Notre-Dame de l'Assomption de Hearst.

We regret to announce the death of Mr. Roland Lamontagne, at the age of 69, on august 23rd 2023, at Notre-Dame Hospital in Hearst. He leaves beautiful memories in the hearts of his brothers and sisters; Ronald (late Lawrence Aubertin), Raymond (Georgette Côté), René, Claude (Evelyn Alig), Fernand (Carmelle Audet), Gaetan, Jeanine (Victor Veilleux), Thérèse (late Jean-Marie Goupil), Anita (late Roland Grenier), Diane (Blier) and Joane (Jean Fortier) all from Hearst. Roland also leaves beautiful memories in many beautiful memories in the heart of his godson Jérémy Fortier, as well as several nephews, nieces and friends.

He was predeceased by his father, Odilon Lamontagne, his mother, Marie-Ange Lamontagne (born Bastarache) and his brother, Roger (Pauline Côté).

We want to remember Roland as a man who loved the company of his family, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces and friends. He was very concerned about others, he was interested in people’s experiences. Hard worker, we remember a man dedicated 48 years of his life at the plywood. Roland was always excited for the winter to take his famous Yamaha snowmobile. Big fan, you could always see him at the Lumberjacks games. Goodbye Roland! Always in our hearts!

The funeral will take place on Saturday, September 2 at 10:30 a.m. at Notre-Dame de l'Assomption Cathedral in Hearst.
