We regretfully announce the passing of Emily John-George, who passed away on the evening of Friday, October 25, 2024 surrounded by her family at Notre Dame Hospital at the age of 90 years old. Predeceased by her husband, Louis, sons, Carl, Randy and Marvin, and grandchild, Quincy Baxter, her parents, Mathew and Frances Taylor, her brothers, John, Mark and Joel and her sister Beatrice. Emily was a loving mother to her children, Marlene, Glenn, Rita, Beatrice, Stephen, Tim, Brian and Joey. She will be greatly missed by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by her sisters Laura and Frances. And by her numerous nephews and nieces.

Emily had many interests; trapping, fishing, netting and hunting. She thoroughly enjoyed being out on the land and passed her interests to her children. She was also was a very skilled and talented artist. Making many beaded mitts, gloves, slippers and moccasins out of moose or deer hide, many times she would gift these items to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also made homemade quilts throughout her life, again gifting her family. She also played the accordion from time to time in her younger days. She enjoyed watching hockey and baseball and enjoyed travelling with her family to numerous places.

Family visitation will take place on Friday, November 1, 2024 at the Full Gospel Church in Constance Lake from 10:00 - 11:00 and will receive visitors from 11:00 - 2:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m.
